The U.S. Visa application site is very complex, and for people who do not speak English as a first language, or for those who aren't familiar with U.S. Government websites, it would be extremely overwhelming. With the redesigned site, information is easily digestible. The addition of MyVisaPortal also clears up confusion and helps applicants track their progress during the application.

This design was tested with people ranging in age from 30 - 71. With the feedback I was given, I was able to make the site easily understandable to a wide audience. I also conducted user interviews with people actively in the Visa process. They supported the addition of the "My Visa Portal" and said that it would be very beneficial in the overall process.
